The semen is composed of:

Less than 10% of the volume of a ejaculation corresponds to spermatozoa, and more than 90% to seminal fluid. The density of spermatozoa in the semen varies from 50 to 150 million per milliliter, so each ejaculation contains between 200 and 400 million of them.

Among the elements that make up the semen are the fluids provided by the seminal vesicle:

- fructoseTraditionally used as a sweetener for diabetics. Unlike refined sugar that is absorbed instantly, causing a rapid rise and fall in energy, fructose is metabolized and stored by the liver in part as glycogen as a reserve for when we need to make an effort. However, since fructose ultimately transforms into glucose, producing a blood glucose elevation, it is no longer considered a recommended sweetener for people with diabetes.

Fructose sweetens more than glucose, so less quantity is needed, consequently fewer calories are consumed, given that it has the same caloric value as glucose, 400 Kcal. per 100 gm

Many people, unknowingly, are more or less intolerant to fructose and cannot well assimilate foods with high content of this sugar. In such a case, it is said that they suffer from fructose intolerance.

*Phosphorus

Common phosphorus is a white solid with an unpleasant characteristic odor, but pure phosphorus is colorless. This non-metal is insoluble in water and spontaneously oxidizes in the presence of air to form pentoxide phosphorus, so it is stored submerged in water.

Phosphorus is a chemical element with atomic number 15 and symbol P. It is a multivalent non-metal belonging to the nitrogen group that occurs naturally combined in inorganic phosphates and in living organisms but never in its native state. Potassium is the major cation of intracellular fluid in the human organism. It is involved in maintaining normal water balance, osmotic equilibrium between cells and interstitial fluid, and acid-base balance determined by the pH of the organism. Potassium is also involved in muscle contraction and neuromuscular regulation, participating in the transmission of nerve impulses through the action potentials of the human organism. Due to its electrostatic and chemical properties, potassium ions are longer than sodium ions, so ion channels and pumps on cell membranes can distinguish between the two types of ions; actively or passively pumping one of these ions pass while blocking the other. 3 Potassium promotes cellular development and is partly stored at the muscular level, so if the muscle is being formed (growth and development periods) a suitable potassium supply is essential. A significant decrease in serum potassium levels (below 3.5 meq/L) can cause potentially fatal conditions known as hypokalemia, often resulting from situations such as diarrhea, increased diuresis, vomiting, and dehydration. Deficiency symptoms include: muscle weakness, fatigue, asthenia, cramps, gastrointestinal level: ileus, constipation, abnormal electrocardiogram, cardiac arrhythmias, and in severe cases respiratory paralysis and alkalosis.

The prostate gland provides 15 to 30 percent of seminal plasma:

-L-Carnitine
-alkaline phosphatase
-calcium
-sodium
-zinc
-potassium
enzymes for protein separation and fibrolisina (an enzyme that reduces blood and tissue fibers).

The last element added to semen is a fluid secreted by urethral and bulbourethral glands, a thick, clear, and lubricating protein known as mucus.

Pass but don't overdo it. Do it when you have extra energy, otherwise you'll be wasting energy that could be used for example: going for a run, going to the gym or meeting cute people at the beach.
