I'm going to make a very personal and judgment-free reflection about the chic@ cross. I've read and examined various concepts on what crossdressing is and the diverse viewpoints on this activity in men who want to feel like a woman during a sexual encounter, enjoying dressing up or feeling like a woman during those intimate moments.
Crossdressing (abbreviated as CD), resulting from the union of cross (to cross, pass, traverse) with dress (clothing, garment), consists of dressing up or adopting the attire of the other gender in certain moments, generally of intimacy, for pleasure or sexual enjoyment. Although CD implies dressing up, it doesn't mean they're transvestites. These men don't like being dressed as a woman 24/7, nor do they adopt the social role of a woman in their daily life (identification with the other gender is only during the experience of the sexual encounter).
Now, when I see dating sites or classified ads for cross encounters, I notice that many of these boys who consider themselves cross lack production and staging, not that I'm criticizing them, but as my personal appreciation, since each one does what they want and can. That is, many think that by putting on a thong, they're authentic girls cross. I see many guys defining themselves as crossdressers without depilation (armpits, legs, and genitals hairy), zero accessories, no complete lingerie, unkempt feet, etc.; lacking the feminine charm that attracts those males who would enjoy a girl with impeccable production. Each one does what they want in terms of sexual enjoyment, obviously, but a true cross girl knows how to put herself together beautifully for her man.
Although being cross requires some monetary investment, there are very economical alternatives to achieve it (realistic wigs, cheap makeup and lingerie at the Fairs, body hair removal creams for men that have a fairly accessible cost in supermarkets... it's just a matter of figuring out how to look more feminine. It's all about attitude.
In summary, a true crossdresser must pay close attention to the smallest details. Complete lingerie, diverse accessories, shoes, wig, makeup, fake nails, well-groomed body hair (it's no longer unusual for men to completely depilate themselves), adequate hygiene, cared-for skin, and above all, a lot of feminine attitude; because if what you want to achieve is a complete gender character, it's important to act correctly... very femininely.
When asked if I prefer well-produced crossdressers with 100% girlie attitude or a transsexual woman, I would choose without hesitation a well-produced crossdresser. Why? Because I have the idea, correct or not, that transsexual women are mostly driven by financial gain, although there may be many exceptions. On the other hand, crossdressers are guided by fantasy, desire, excitement, and passion for feeling like a woman, dressing up in feminine accessories and clothes to enjoy their male partner without economic benefit, most of the time, with obvious exceptions.
As the saying goes... there's everything in God's vineyard.
Each person has the freedom to present themselves as they see fit, which is the good thing about respect and tolerance for others. It's up to each individual to choose.
