Women often believe that as we advance in age, desire decreases; many of us even assume that sexual arousal is a passion reserved for younger women (I add myself)
However, science has just demonstrated how wrong we can be, and that maturity comes with a bubbly and super-hot lust.
At the University of Texas, a psychologist named David Buss conducted a study to find out at what age women have the greatest sexual desire. And the data were surprising: women between 27 and 45 years old turned out to be much more sexually active and fantasizing than younger women, thus debunking the hyper-eroticized image of students in miniskirts.
In contrast, men's sexual interest, usually measured by the number of orgasms per week, reaches its peak during adolescence and early youth, and stabilizes (at an average of three orgasms per week) in subsequent years.
Why do older women result in being the most hungry for sex? Scientists believe that the answer lies in evolution. Let's go back to the cave age... In those times, our female ancestors had to face the harsh experience of many of their children dying before they were able to reproduce. According to scientists, this trauma left a psychological imprint on us, driving us to give birth to as many children as possible (although we are already mothers). But getting pregnant is relatively easy for a woman in her early twenties, so she has to make fewer attempts and doesn't need to dedicate much time to sex.
Things change after 25, when pregnancy becomes a slightly more expensive business. And what do women do then? We try harder and with greater desire, having more sex than before!
And attention, girls: because we not only want... We have more sex between 27 and 45, but we also fantasize more intensely, not necessarily stimulating ourselves with our partners, but rather being more prone to fantasizing about others. The good news is that many of you may be thinking: 'Very nice theory, but that's not what happens to me. Since I got married and have kids, I've had less sexual desire!' This makes us think about the terrifying power that routine sex can have on our desire, making monotony even more powerful than the mighty instinct of reproduction...
So girls, once again, it's time to get our erotic imagination working and wake up that wonderful dormant lust, since evolution and instinct are on our side! As if we needed a magazine to tell us...
