Hello family friends of P! In this afternoon I want to share with you a tutorial so that you can learn how to create a 'User Menu' using Photoshop 😊

Create a new file with a width of 1000px and a height of 200px, then create a rounded rectangle using the corresponding tool...

To that rectangle we can add a style from the ones we have saved in Photoshop, or if you prefer you can just give it color, it's up to you 😊

As we write each word on a different layer, then we must group the text layers, to do that we must select the text layers and then use the command Ctrl + G, and thus obtain our group

Now to give life to our User Menu we can use a Rander. If we don't have any saved render in our machine, like in my case then we'll use a normal image 😉 We can use the image in two ways: The first option is to go to File and click where it says Place. The second option is to drag the image from the folder where we have it saved and drop it into Photoshop.

Now that the image is open in Photoshop, we can place it at the desired location and also change its size... If the image doesn't fit the size we want, we can re-edit its size with the 'Ctrl + T' command or move it with the 'Move' tool (V) Note: if you don't have practice using Photoshop, it's easier to use an image with a white background, as this makes the job easier when removing the background 😉

With the tool '- rapid selection', we select the background of the image

Now we select the eraser tool, but when we pass the eraser it tells us that you can't edit the content of the image because it's a smart object, then we have to rasterize the object... okay.

Now that we have the rasterized object, we can pass the draft and remove the background. We shouldn't worry about erasing the image because when selecting the background, it will only be possible to erase the background 😉 And the image will remain like this:

When you have deleted the background it is necessary to use the 'quick selection' tool again and right-clicking on the image select the option 'Deselect'

We're giving life to our beloved User Menu 🙂 with the image we use without background, but to give it more life, we select the layer and right-click where it says 'fusion options'

We select the 'parallel shadow' option and it gives a background touch to the image

Now we do the same fusion process with our text group, then: we select the group and right-clicking on it, we select 'fusion options' here we also use parallel shadow and to give a rough touch to the letters we use the option 'Bisel and relief', indicating the 'texture' option

With our user menu practically ready, we're left with the most important thing: image division! To make this division, we'll use the 'Sector' tool.

We divide our final image like this:

When we have our image divided, we go to 'Archive' and select: Save for web and devices 'Alt + Shift + Ctrl + S'

Now we save our image as PNG-24 so that it gives us transparency and adjust the image to 720px wide 😊

And we click on save, each one looks where they want to save it and what name to give it 😉

If we have done all the steps correctly, we should be left with a folder containing the 4 images 😊

Now comes the moment to upload images, each one has their preferred image host so each one is free to upload the image to the host they prefer... Once the images are uploaded then we have something like:

but if we leave our post with this image... nothing will happen because it will stay like a common and ordinary image

For our user menu to remain functional, it is necessary for it to be in the following way:

Friends there are millions of ways to make a user menu, you can do it with an image, you can do it in the form of a separator bar (without rendering), you can style the text; let imagination fly to do things we like and give life to our posts
