Carrera Linn Karter was born in Harris County (Texas), and grew up in Saint Joseph (Missouri). Later, she moved to California and pursued a career in acting and singing, until she fought with her manager when he discovered that she had been working as an erotic dancer. She started dancing when she was named Showgirl of the State of Missouri in 2007 by Déjà Vu. While continuing to dance in California, she eventually ventured into modeling, signing with LA Direct Models later on and posing for sessions with erotic photographer Holly Randall.
