Erotic Tattoos of the 19th and 20th Centuries

The tattoo collection of the Department of Forensic Medicine at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, consists of60 preserved objects in formalin. Most of the tattoos belonged to prisoners at the state penitentiary located near Montelupich Street. The collection started at the end of the 19th century and continued into part of the 20th century. I've collected those with an erotic, loving or pornographic cut. Note the difference in craftsmanship compared to those made today, and the innocence of some scenes. Thanks for visiting the post.
