Sergio Dalma, whose real name is Josep Sergi Capdevila Querol, is a Spanish singer born on September 28, 1964 in Sabadell (Barcelona). Professional career[editar]Sergio Dalma started his musical career performing with orchestras and choirs until he became known through the program Gent d'aquí of the Catalan circuit of TVE, which earned him a contract at the Shadows hall (in Barcelona). Sergio signed with the Horus record label, with whom he released his first album, Esa chica es mía, in 1989. Although it didn't have much success, the record label gave him another chance with Sintiéndonos la piel, in 1991.[/editar][1][editar]That same year, Sergio Dalma represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with the song Bailar pegados, finishing fourth. In Améyummy Latina, countries like Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Venezuela opened doors for him. He also participated in two opportunities in the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile in 1992 and 2002.

In 1992, he published Adivina, which reached number one thanks to the song Ave Lucía. Later, he signed with Polygram Ibéyummy, releasing four albums, and then with his current record label, Universal, releasing five more until now, including a double CD of greatest hits. Among his most popular songs are Galilea, Mi historia entre tus dedos, Sólo para ti or Déjame olvidarte. In 2008, he published his latest work to date, A buena hora. Some of his albums, such as Lo mejor de Sergio Dalma and Todo lo que quieres, contain two songs in Catalan, one in Galician, and another in Italian. With A buena hora, the album published in 2008, he entered directly at number 1 on his first week in sales charts, a huge success, already achieving his first platinum disc.
