Roberto Baldazzini was born in Vignola, near Modena, Italy, on August 18, 1958. He lives and works in Vignola. His interest in drawing comics manifested strongly at the age of fourteen. While studying for his diploma as an expert in commerce, he desperately tried to contact many publishing houses by drawing non-stop, seeking a personal style while painting and taking photographs. From 1977 to 1978, he studied at the D.A.M.S. (Discipline of Art, Music and Entertainment) in Bologna. After that, he took the entrance exam to the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he studied for five years before leaving to professionalize.
