Although attention is focused on the teams in the World Cup, the wives and women of football players have also taken charge of having their 15 minutes of fame in the media, taking advantage of the celebrity of their partners.

The New York Daily News conducted a selection of 23 wives and girlfriends of World Cup players to form the Team 33 of Brazil 2014.

If that group of 23 is reduced to eleven starters, this would be the possible lineup, with their boyfriends or husbands in parentheses.
