The red hair, like a color more clear, is given with greater frequency in Europe and less frequently in other areas. In Northern Europe, for example Nordic countries, its frequency is very high. The red is a hair color characterized by low levels of the dark pigment melanin. The resulting visible tone depends on several factors, but always has some kind of yellowish color. The color can vary from very pale red (caused by irregular and scarce distribution of pigment) to reddish or golden-brown (these last ones with more melanin).
