This is my first post for the community. Today we will learn what a close-up or extreme close-up is. 🤤 The first plans show more detail, but do not include the wider scene. Moving to a first plan or out of a close-up is a common type of zoom.
The first shots do not show the theme in the broad context of its environment
If used excessively, close-ups may leave viewers uncertain about what they're seeing...
Due to perspective, objects in the center of the image appear enlarged.
The first shots are often used as cutaways from a farther shot to show details, such as the characters' emotions or some complex activity with their hands, or like in this case... the use of the mouth.
