Nautical Diversion at Sea

The Yankees have their own particular way of performing the so-called 'baptisms' for all debutantes in any instance. The naval academy of Annapolis (not kidding, that's its name) provides a sample of them, which in Mexico are sometimes called 'Palo Encebado', while its northern neighbor calls it 'The Plebian Sailor’s Challenge', clearly changing the phallic symbol to something more dignified, a monument in the shape of an obelisk.

If they ask me, I think any excuse is good to have a horde of naked men rubbing against each other...
