Linn Karter was born in Harris County, Texas, and grew up in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Later she moved to California and pursued a career in acting and singing, until she fought with her manager when he discovered that she had been working as an erotic dancer. In January 2010, she signed an exclusive contract with Zero Tolerance Entertainment. Her first film with that producer was recently recorded in Los Angeles, California, and features Julia Ann.
