One of the most brilliant moments in 'The Fight Club' is when Tyler Durden adds to his list of creative pranks inserting a frame with a penis in the middle of an animated film. 'Nobody knows what they've seen, but they've seen it'.
Apparently, Chuck Palahniuk, author of the book, was inspired by rumors that say Disney movies can be found with subliminal images with clear sexual implications. Apparently this is true.
The first images belong to the 1977 film Rescuers. Among the over 100,000 frames that make up the film, two were found featuring a naked woman in a window, which motivated Disney to remove more than 3.5 million copies of the movie from the video market.
In the 1988 film 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' we find two cases. In one, the famous Betty Boop complains to Eddie Valiant about her condition as a sexy cartoon character being out of style before Jessica Rabbit's upcoming musical number. After shutting up the perplexed Eddie, Betty turns around and, for a second, her dress drops low enough to reveal both her breasts.
In another sequence, the very same Jessica Rabbit is pushed and, as she falls to the ground, hints at what's underneath her skirt. The filmmakers attribute this image to a coloring error but the position of the arm, which appears to lift up the dress, is very suspicious.
In the following image, belonging to the cover of 'The Little Mermaid', you can see, with a bit of imagination, that is, a golden penis acting as a tower. In this case, Disney denied categorically that the image showed a virile member and blamed hot-headed minds for seeing what they wanted to see.
