This is a simple and easy way to create caps for videos. Only theMedia Player ClassicIt's a very lightweight software and doesn't need any installation.

You can manage the configuration to your liking. A good option would be to set the image to 600 pixels and in .jpg format so they don't have problems when uploading them to an image hosting server because some servers do not accept .bmp.
Click Save / Guard and the image will remain like this:
