The day of Saint Patrick is one of the most celebrated festivals around the entire planet. They say that the arrival of this missionary from Britain to Ireland, in the first quarter of the 5th century, also meant the landing of Christianity on the island. That is to say, the person who planted the first seed in a land that would become one of the countries with more Christian tradition.
It started being something of the Irish, and totally linked to religion, but little by little, especially in recent years, thanks to certain secularization of the event and an excellent beer marketing strategy from a multinational brewery, it became incredibly popular.
St. Patrick's Day is without a doubt one of the dates when beer is consumed the most all over the planet. Millions and millions of pints around the world. And remember that if in your city there isn't even a parade or a tent to stimulate the cult of the saint, you'll always have the possibility of getting close to the mythical Irish pub. There, the party is guaranteed.
And as I said, a beer ad says 'Think Green', Happy St. Patrick's Day.
