Sasha Grey (b. March 14, 1988, in North Highlands, California, United States) is the stage name of Marina Ann Hantzis, an American pornographic actress, who also engages in activities outside the world of pornography through modeling, acting, and music.
After growing up in Sacramento, California, Grey moved to Los Angeles and began appearing in pornographic films shortly after turning 18. Grey appeared in a 2006 edition of Los Angeles magazine. She won several AVN Awards in 2007, 2008, and 2010.
During the same period, Grey started modeling and appeared in Steven Soderbergh's film The Girlfriend Experience. She also recorded an industrial music project called aTelecine
