Zhang Ziyi is a recognized actress of Chinese origin. She was born in Beijing on February 9, 1979. She became known after her performance in the movie Memories of a Geisha (2005), directed by Steven Spielberg. Previously, she had entered the American market thanks to the box office success of the film House of Flying Daggers (2004), filmed in China but with American production.
