With this series I want to start a publication format on Poringa that very, very few will appreciate. But just as I'm not interested in likes from here or social networks (that's why I don't have them) I propose the game of discovering an universe of erotic photographic images from different free authors and authors who are not bound by archetypal aesthetics (I refer to Playboy magazine aesthetics that have only conditioned our gaze on what is erotic and even how a woman or man should be portrayed in them. So, without further ado, welcome to these Pornographic Chronicles.
Today I would like to start with the work of a series called the death of youth from which I extract some paragraphs from the text that presents it and leave a link Death of Youth. This project starts from the idea that when a man turns thirty, he reaches an umbral where the possibility of fulfilling juvenile fantasies ceases to exist. I have aspired to create a project that not only illustrates the desires I had when I was young but also illustrates the desires of a man in transition to a new period of life. In this sense, this series documents a lifestyle I longed for when I was younger and possibly still long for. When I turned thirty, the fantasy portrayed in these photographs became impossible: the person who lives such a life must be born taller, prettier, more charming, famous, and yummier than me. This project provided me with closure as I concluded one segment of my life, my youth, and began another. I called this series Death of Youthwww.thedeathofyouth.com
