José Antonio Moreno Montoya is a Spanish photographer. He was a professor in the photographic/artistic field at universities in his country. As for his work, he has no qualms about what is considered morally correct, showing his opinion as it is without any type of censorship. In the Sanctorum image series, the author uses paraphrasing, reusing religious images from classical iconography, giving them a new sense and clearly transgressive intention, seeking to invert their meaning at a deeper level. He extols sexuality as an inherent facet of human nature independent of any belief or religion.
