The French painter Paul Laurenzi was born in 1964 in Antibes. The approach to the female model by artists such as Toulouse-Lautrec, Manet, Klimt, and Balthus strongly inspires him and leads him to play with transparent fabrics that convey feminine curves. Thus, his models release a soft and mysterious sensuality. He admires the work of sculptors like Rodin, Camille Claudel, and Carpeaux and never tires of these white marble curves, polished and bright, emerging from a rough block.
