Witches

W.I.T.C.H. Manifesto (Women International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell - Conspiración Terrorista Internacional de las Mujeres del Infierno) WITCH, we are all women. It is theater, revolution, magic, fear, happiness, enchantment. It is the consciousness of witches being the first combatants and guerrilleras against oppression, particularly the oppression of women throughout the centuries.

Witches have always been women without fear of existing, being brave, aggressive, intelligent, nonconformist, curious, independent, sexually liberated, revolutionary (perhaps that's why nine million of them were burned). Witches were the first to practice birth control and abortion, the first alchemists (transforming stone into gold is very dangerous for capitalism!), they did not stay on their knees in front of any man, they were survivors of the oldest culture before spiritual, economic, sexual, mortal repression by patriarchal, imperialist society, which was severe, destroying human societies and nature.

Witch lives in every woman. It is the free part of each one of us, beneath timid smiles, approval of absurd masculine domination, makeup or suffocating clothing that our sick society demands we wear.

You can't pretend to be a WITCH because you're a woman and by just looking inside yourself, you know you're a WITCH! Build your own rules, be free and rebellious; form your own circle of sisters and build your utopias. Enemies: everything repressive, authoritarian, macho. Weapons: theater, satire, poetry, music, stickers, posters, broomsticks, guns, voodoo dolls. All magnificent imagination without limits, because your power lies in being a woman, and it strengthens by working with other sisters.
