MINI BIOGRAPHY
Not all joys have been for Maria, she left home at an early age. The abandonment of her father with addiction to drugs and abuse.Maria went through depressions and had suicidal thoughts in mind.She went to live in an apartment, at 15 years old she got pregnant and that was the reason why Maria had hopes of continuing to fight.In that time they tattooed on their knuckles the word believe to give themselves even more motivation.. Maria works in laundromats to pay the apartment rent and support her son Davion. At 18 years old, she decided to dedicate herself to singing. She decides it's time to move to Los Angeles and leaves Albany to try her luck there. Upon arriving in California, she works in clothing stores on Melrose, bars, and other jobs, waiting to find a band. Meanwhile, her mother in Albany takes care of her son. She sends most of the money she earns to her family.Chris HowordHe held auditions to find a singer in 2004, on his first auditionMaria wasn't approved because she was a woman, at first she wanted a boy.
But in the second audition, Maria full of inner confidence demonstrated great talent and Howard apologized and chose her.Maria Brink points to her past tragedies in her lyrics, including the abandonment of her father 'Daddy's Falling Angel' and the death of her best friend 'Legacy of Hate'.

In This Moment is the American metalcore band formed in 2005 originating from North Hollywood (urban agglomeration of Los Angeles), California. Their first album Beautiful Tragedy was released on March 20, 2007 under Century Media Records. In 2008 they published The Dream which debuted at number 70 on the Billboard 200. The band has just released their third album A Star-Crossed Wasteland. The band's sound is recognizable due to the singing of vocalist Maria Brink due to the use of growls and clean voices.
In 2005, singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth met through some friends. After discovering they had much in common, they started writing songs together.
