SARAH PALIN
Sarah Louise Heath Palin (Sandpoint, Idaho; February 11, 1964) is a Republican politician. Governor of Alaska between 2006 and 2009. On August 29, 2008, it was announced that she would be the candidate for Vice President of the United States for the Republican Party accompanying John McCain in the presidential candidacy, thus becoming the first woman to aspire to the vice presidency of that country for the Republican Party, and the second in history after Geraldine Ferraro, who in 1984 was a running mate of Walter Mondale, Democratic Party candidate.
